Basic climbing material

• Climbing harness
• HMS carabiner
• Helmet - wearing a helmet is mandatory on ESAC weekends
• Climbing shoes
• Safebiner
• Belaying device

Additional for multipitch

• Safety device (preferably a tuber-like one such as an ATC or Reverso)
• 3 screw carabiners of which at least 1 is HMS biner
• 2 schlinges (of which at least 1x 120 cm; preferably 2x 120 cm)
• Prusikrope (thickness: 5mm; length: 1x 1m, 2x 5m; preferably different colors)
• 6x Quickdraws
• Technique checklist + pen, in case you are following the MP-course
